The IRRInet ACE is the flagship of Motorola's new generation IRRInet controllers, providing a cost-effective solution to a wide range of water and irrigation control tasks.
The IRRInet ACE serves as a powerful communication controller for monitoring and controlling multiple IRRInet and field units. The IRRInet ACE architecture allows programming of customized local applications along with communication to various local controllers.
Common to all models, the IRRInet ACE basic configuration consists of a motherboard mounted on a chassis with up to 8 expansion slots accommodating the system expansion modules. The IRRInet ACE Power supply and CPU provides the local programming logic to drive the inputs and outputs as well as supporting the various radio and line communication options. The expansion 8 slots can accommodate any combination of expansion modules according to the specific site configuration.
The fully compatible IRRInet ACE connects with the Piccolo Interface Unit (PIU) in order to operate remote units (RTUs) such as the Radio Piccolo XR.
